What is 123Movies?

A browsing guide for movies and TV series. You can search the catalog, filter by genre or country, read summaries and cast lists, watch trailers, and see exactly which services carry a title.

Can I watch films here?

No. 123Movies does not host, stream, mirror or embed any video files. Each title page has a Where to Watch panel listing the legitimate streaming, rental and purchase options available in your region, and links you straight to them.

Where does the information come from?

Titles, posters, artwork, ratings, cast and availability all come from TMDB, a community-maintained film and television database, via its public API. Availability data is supplied to TMDB by JustWatch.

How often is it updated?

Continuously. Trending and latest rows refresh every 15 minutes, and the rest of the catalog refreshes hourly.

Why is a title missing, or the rating wrong?

Because the data is TMDB's, not ours. TMDB is community-edited, so the fastest fix is to correct the entry there — the change will appear here within the hour.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything is free to browse and nothing requires signing up. The optional newsletter in the footer is the only place we ask for anything.
